  GREETING CARD TEAM

The GREETING CARD TEAM sends greeting cards primarily to those on the Special Care List, and in response to the Prayer Team Ministry requests to send cards.  The Special Care List includes those associated with Liberty Baptist Church who have special health issues, are caretakers for an ill spouse or family member, are confined to home or facility due to their health or have lost their spouse approximately within the last year. 

Our goal is to have some of our GCT responsible for sending Birthday / Anniversary cards to those on our Special Care List and to work toward doing the same for everyone involved in CARE/CONCERN MINISTRIES and our Staff Pastors and wives.  Other members of the GCT are primarily responsible to send Get Well, Praying for You, Thinking of You, Sympathy, or Holiday cards to anyone we are aware of who is in need (and who is in any way associated with LBC whether it be members, attendees or prospective members.) Most of the needs are posted in Prayer Team Ministry emails.  In addition to the types of cards mentioned above, there are Special Mailings that are sent out to everyone on the SCL 3 times per year:  Spring Cards, Patriotic cards, and Thanksgiving or fall.
