Welcome to our Music Ministry

The music ministry is under the direction of Pastor Robert Megill.  The purpose of the music ministry is to call us together and set the environment for worship. The Bible says that the Lord did not fill the temple with His glory until the instruments were sounded and the singers had sung. This is by no means to say that the Lord will not bless a service that has only preaching and no music, for we know the Lord has said, "My Word... shall not return unto me void".

Christ-centered music prepares the heart for worship, helps take our eyes off of our own cares and problems of this world, and places them back on Christ where they belong. King David once said, "I was glad when they said let us go into the house of the LORD." The music ministry is here to glorify the Lord to help us focus our minds and hearts on Him.

Christ centered music helps us worship the Lord.

The music ministry includes but is not limited to the adult choir, children’s choir, AWANA Club singers, all special singers and special music for offertories. 

Guidelines for being a part of the music ministry are:

·         Must be a born again believer

·         Show a lifestyle consistent with the Word of God

·         Be faithful in Church attendance as well as all practices
