Welcome to our Nursing Home Ministry

Several times a week. we meet with the patients of various nursing homes in our area for a one-hour service.

After greeting the patients, we open with prayer, sing hymns, and occasionally a solo from one of our team members. Usually two people give a short devotion, the first one followed by a couple more hymns, then another devotion.

Our purpose is to help them understand the plan of salvation, and to let them know that God loves them and so do we.

After the service, some of us visit the patients in their rooms, and pray with them. They are, many times, a forgotten and lonely people.

Our weekly schedule of events

Sunday – 2P/3P – The Abbey – Corner of 71^st ave. N. and 9^th

                 St. (parking and entrance in back).

                 3:30P/4:00P – The Carrington Place (Bible Study)

                 10501 Roosevelt Blvd.-1/4 mi. east of 9^th St.

Tuesday – 2P/3P – Concordia – 321 13^th ave. N.

                   (park on street or in rear of restaurant)

Wednesday – 10A/11A – The Carrington Place (see above)

Saturday – 2P/3P – Palm Terrace – 70^th ave. N. & 5^th St.

                    (turn west off 4^th St. on 69^th ave.)
