We are pleased that you have chosen to partner with Liberty Baptist Church to help you to "bring up your child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. ". We have some dedicated and talented people who work in our children’s ministry.  To help you get to know some of the people who dedicate their lives and time to working with children, we would like to share some testimonies of some of our teachers.

I was saved in a Freewill Baptist Church at Lenore, WV in March of 1967.  I was 33 years old, married with 2 children ages 9 and 11.  I was attending easter sunrise services with my husband who had been saved just 2 weeks before.  I was baptized later in the day in the small creek located behind the Church.  When the pastor preached that morning, I heard the plan of salvation so clearly and knew I needed God’s forgiveness for my sins.  I can truly say this was the greatest change that had ever occurred in my life.  There was a peace that was beyond explanation.  The things that I was concerned about in my life became secondary to the new life I enjoyed.  My goal in life now is to see everyone I knew come to know this peace and to help people in need. 

I joined Liberty Baptist Church in 2001 and was made aware of the need to help missionaries and have been doing that for the last 7 years.  I love the Lord and have been blessed so much in my lifetime.  I continue to praise Him daily for His goodness.

Bonnie Dempsey

I accepted the Lord as my Savior in a little church in Ohio in 1956.  I started teaching Sunday School soon after that and have been teaching ever since.  I feel that this is what the Lord has called me to do.  He has answered many prayers and meet my every need.  I would not want to be without him.  He is my helper and comforter in every area of my life.

            Ramona Atkinson

I was saved at Springhill Church Monroe, In on December 2, 1977.  Pastor Jack Robbins, visiting missionary from Haiti, was preaching on Revelation 3:20 during our revival services.  As the pastor was preaching, God was speaking to me about my need to receive Him as my personal savior and my need for forgiveness of my sins.  It is only through God’s grace and mercy that I am saved.  Thank Gof for all He has gone through for me on Calvary.  My life is forever changed.  I couldn’t wait to share the joy and love with everyone I knew.  I was baptized at a local lake owned by one of our parishioners.

I continue to share His love and the plan of salvation with my friends and relatives.  It is such a blessing to serve Him at Liberty Baptist by helping to teach the 3 and 4 year olds.  There is nothing more gratifying and fulfilling than to see God work in the lives of our 3 and 4 year olds as they learn God’s word.
